Meet Elton
Elton Holt is a Los Angeles–based writer|director whose work blends grounded storytelling with striking visual style. His films often explore themes of identity, power, and consequence, combining cinematic atmosphere with character-driven narratives.
Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, Elton served in the United States Navy before pursuing a career in filmmaking. The discipline and leadership developed during his service continue to influence his approach to storytelling and collaboration on set.
Elton earned his Bachelor’s degree in Film Production from the Los Angeles Film School, graduating cum laude, and will begin pursuing his Master’s degree in Film Production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
His work has received recognition from several international festivals, including a Best Student Film win at the Cannes World Film Festival, as well as honors from the IndieX Film Fest and Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival.
Elton is the founder of Eleven7Ninety Films, a production company focused on developing bold and visually compelling stories across film and digital media. He is also a founding member of Venti Footage, a creative collective of filmmakers dedicated to producing visually ambitious projects and exploring new approaches to cinematic storytelling.
